Flexible OLED screen is a special display screen that is completely different from conventional display screens. Flexible display screens are manufactured and designed using a special process that combines advanced technology with new materials. With the gradual improvement of the special process of OLED flexible display screens, the application of flexible display screens has become increasingly widespread. However, flexible display screens cannot be treated in the same way as conventional display screens. At the same time, it is necessary to have a better understanding of the product and protection awareness. For example, during use, they need to be handled gently to avoid hard objects from squeezing them. Before fitting and installing, the chip area should be avoided from being squeezed and causing IC breakage. The IC and FPC areas should not come into contact with alcohol and other liquids, and the connection between FPC and flexible screen should not be pulled to prevent damage. Flexible display screens are prone to damage before they are fixed and installed, so caution should be exercised when selecting flexible screens.

1. Not excessively bending the screen: Although smart flexible screens can bend, it does not mean they can be excessively bent, especially for larger screens. Excessive bending can damage the internal circuits and connections of the screen, thereby affecting its normal use. Therefore, when using a flexible screen, excessive bending of the screen should be avoided, and the flat or moderately curved shape of the screen should be maintained as much as possible (bending greater than 90 degrees is prohibited).

.Avoid sharp objects colliding with the screen: Flexible screens are more fragile compared to traditional screens, especially when the protective film or outer material on the screen surface is not strong enough, it is more likely to be scratched or damaged by sharp objects. Therefore, in daily use, sharp objects should be avoided from colliding with the screen to prevent damage to the

.Prevent excessive stretching: Smart flexible screens usually have a certain degree of stretchability, but they should not be excessively stretched. Excessive stretching can cause excessive stress on the internal circuits or structures of the screen, resulting in screen damage. Therefore, when using, excessive stretching of the screen should be avoided to ensure its long-term use (conventional flexible screens cannot be stretched).

.Avoid prolonged use of high brightness: Prolonged use of high brightness may generate heat on the screen, thereby affecting its stability and lifespan. Especially when using a particularly bright white background, it is more likely to cause this problem. Therefore, when using smart flexible screens, brightness should be controlled reasonably to avoid maintaining high brightness for a long time.

.Preventing grease contact: The surface of flexible screens often has a layer of grease protective film to prevent grease, dust, and other substances from entering the interior of the screen. Therefore, during use, it is advisable to avoid contact between grease and the screen surface to avoid damaging the protective film of the screen or affecting the display effect

.Avoid frequent folding: Another important feature of flexible screens is their ability to be slotted and folded, but it is also necessary to avoid frequent folding. Frequent folding can cause fatigue or breakage of the wires or connectors inside the screen, thereby affecting the service life of the screen. Therefore, in the use of folding screens, it is advisable to perform complex folding operations as much as possible to ensure the mouthfeel of the screen.

.Avoid water and humidity: Flexible screens often use complex structures, with sensitive internal circuits and connections. Therefore, it is advisable to avoid exposing the flexible screen to water or humid environments as much as possible to prevent damage to the internal structure of the screen or causing short circuits

.Avoid touching the chip area: The chip is located at the connection between the display screen and FPC, and contact or bending can easily cause chip breakage and defects. The operation should try to avoid contact with the chip area as much as possible to ensure the reliability of the chip.

.Avoid screen stress: Flexible screens use plastic substrates, while uncommon glass substrates rely on thin film packaging technology, so the surface of the flexible display screen is protected from stress to ensure optimal display performance;

.Avoid live plugging and unplugging: During the operation of flexible display screens, power off is required to avoid damaging the chips

.Avoid edge collision and stress: The flexible screen is composed of multiple layers of special materials attached. When taking and bending, do not squeeze the edges, which may cause self luminous failure and result in blackening after lighting. At the same time, special attention should be paid during the operation to avoid this phenomenon gradually appearing in the later stage.

.Avoid keeping the same screen for a long time: Flexible screens belong to the category of AMOLED. Being in the same screen for a long time can easily cause ghosting, commonly known as burn-in. It is recommended that users refresh the screen display content frequently by holding the screen or adding a screensaver to prevent ghosting
